Lower the handle to the horizontal position and turn it to the right . This automatically spins the can around until the top is cut smoothly. As the top of the can raises  grasp it with the left hand to prevent it from falling into the contents. Raise the handle to the upright position , lift the handle and the bar and remove the open can.
