EbuysTT - Returns, Refund, Warranty Policy:

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any questions regarding the items you received, please contact our Customer Service department. Follow our simple guidelines for exchange, return or refund.

To ensure a smooth returns process, follow the steps below to ensure your returns authorization request meets the returns criteria. Failure to do so may invalidate any returns, refunds or replacement requests.

STEPS TO RETURN A PRODUCT
  • Visit EbuysTT- Return Policy.
  • Fill out a Return Authorization Request online and hit submit
  • Send pictures if requested
  • Our customer service department will contact you if they need any further information.
  • You will receive a Return Authorization Number via Email. Print that Authorization email and include it in your box. Do not write the number on the packaging or on the product.
  • Carefully package item in original manufacturer box and include all packaging, manuals, warranty, parts, batteries. Include packing slip(you received that with the product) and Proof of purchase (copy of your invoice)
  • Customer Service will advise you of the return carrier.
  • Send us the product. We will inspect it and once you meet the return criteria, we will complete the process.

Category 1: Wrong item shipped

eBuysTT or one of its Sellers shipped the wrong item. It is our responsibility to get the correct item to you. 

You have 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of Shipping to return/ exchange a product. This means that by 15 days after the ship date, the product must have a valid Return Authorization and be in the possession of the return delivery carrier.

To be eligible for a return, exchange or replacement, the item MUST be unused, undamaged, in original packaging (plastic, styrofoam, protective material) and must include manuals, warranty papers, all accessories that you received with it. Product can not be assembled, modified or used. Do not write the Return Authorization number on the product or its packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase associated with the item is required. We check for all of these criteria during our Product Inspection Process.

1:When you receive the incorrect item, please fill out a Return Authorization Form - click on the link below to get the RA form. You can fill it out online or we will email it to you for you to complete and return to us. On this form state your reason for returning the item and attach photos to show that you received the wrong item. A Return Authorization number will be issued and emailed to you.

2: Print the Return Authorization form and include it in your package. Please do not write the Return Authorization number on the product package. Doing so will invalidate your return request.

3: If your order is from Trinidad & Tobago, eBuysTT will collect the Return item from you. If your order is from outside Trinidad & Tobago, we will email you a Return Label to send the item back to us.

4:After we receive & inspect the item and confirm that your return satisfies our return policy, we will send the correct item to you.

5: eBuysTT reserves the right to correct the error. If, for personal reasons you want to cancel the order, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to send the incorrect item back to us. Upon receipt, the item goes through our inspection process, and once it meets the criteria of our Return Policy, you will be refunded the purchase price less 20% restocking fee, and less the initial shipping cost The refund will be issued via the same manner initial payment was made. It can take up to 72 hours(weekends and public holidays not included) after we receive the item in our warehouse to process a refund.

Category 2: Damaged or Defective

The item you received is damaged or defective. eBuysTT or one of its Sellers shipped a defective item. It is our responsibility to get the correct item to you.

4:After we receive & inspect the item and confirm that your return satisfies our return policy, we will send the correct item to you. eBuysTT in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole adjudicator as to whether a product is in fact defective. Once your return is processed, and is verified to meet the basic criteria above and to be defective, you will be fully reimbursed. The length of time for shipment of the replacement product is dependent on product availability from the manufacturer or supplier.

5: eBuysTT reserves the right to correct the error. If, for personal reasons you want to cancel your order, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to send the incorrect item back to us. Upon receipt, the item goes through our inspection process, and once it meets the criteria of our Return Policy, you will be refunded the purchase price less 20% restocking fee,and less the initial shipping cost. The refund will be issued via the same manner initial payment was made. It can take up to 5 days (weekends and holidays not included) after we receive the item in our warehouse to process a refund.

Category 3: Personal Reasons Returns

Buyer wants to return a product for personal reasons other than a product defect or wrong item being shipped. eBuysTT does not exchange products. Replacements are for the same product initially ordered. If you want to try another product you must follow the steps below and then place a new order for the item you want.

Note that once your order is shipped it can not be cancelled. So please contact our Customer Service Department if you have a concern.

5: Refund requests arising from no error on the part of eBuysTT or its seller, will be refunded as follows: price paid for order less 20% restocking fee, less initial shipping costs, and less shipping cost to return the item to eBuysTT warehouse. The refund will be issued via the same manner initial payment was made. It can take up to 72 hours(weekends and public holidays not included) after we receive the item in our warehouse to process a refund.

Buyers outside of Trinidad and Tobago:

Please note that the price of the item does not include your country’s import duties and taxes. Customs Duty & import Tax imposed on products shipped outside of Trinidad and Tobago are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded to the buyer.

Category 4: Product Warranty

eBuysTT provides a product warranty up to 15 days after the ship date. After the 15 days timeframe, the buyer has to refer to the warranty information included with their product which will direct the buyer how to effect a warranty issue with the manufacturer if applicable. The buyer can contact our Customer Service Department regarding the matter.

Warranty Replacements or Refunds

Most products on BARTER HUTT come with a Standard 30 Day Warranty. Any additional warranty offered by our Vendors or the option to purchase extended warranties would be explicitly disclosed on the product page at the time of purchase.

If in the unlikely situation your product becomes defective and is covered under warranty, please submit a Support Ticket.

Warranty replacements can only be provided for eligible products within 30 Days of the date delivered unless otherwise stated. We cannot provide any warranty replacements or refunds for products that are not covered under warranty. See Warranty Exemptions & Notes below.

Warranty Exemptions and Notes

Breakage, damage or discoloration during trial or use, is solely the customer’s responsibility and is not covered by our warranties.

Liquid Damage to any product is not covered by our warranties. Warranty is immediately rendered void on all products affected by liquid inclusive of waterproof / water-resistant products.

All Warranties are immediately rendered void if the customer:

Flashes the firmware of a device or roots a device Opens the body in an attempt to fix the device Modifies, removes, customizes, or swaps parts of the product Uses the device in a way that it was not originally intended for Continues to use the item once a fault occurs causing more damage Products that are subject to wear and tear through repeated use due to their nature and intended usage, are exempt from our Standard 30 Day Warranty. Such products are covered only under 48hr DOA instances where the product does not work or is damaged out of the box. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the product carefully upon arrival. Such products include but are not limited to spare parts, drones, wheels, toys, mobile accessories, clothing, cable accessories, auto accessories (including car dvrs), wearable technology, drinkware (including portable blenders), textiles, jewellery etc. Consumables inclusive of pharmaceuticals, batteries, beauty and skin care products and edibles are exempt from any warranty claim. Unavailability, instability or incompatibility of primary or third party software and mobile applications are exempt from any warranty claim.
